"I have been with State Farm insurance for over 20 years. The last seven years with Andrew Bailor State Farm Insurance in Sedona Arizona. His customer service and care is second to none. When you have an accident, the stress is quite high. He was able to put everything in perspective for me and my wife, and we were extremely satisfied with the end result repair job on our car. "I'm a current State Farm customer in the process of relocating from California to Sedona. I just called this office and spoke to Darla to ask her for a quote on my RV. First she says I have to get the vehicle registered in Arizona before she will even give me a quote. I explain I may not be in a hurry to get my insurance transitioned over if it ends up costing more here, she still insists that she can't even give me a quote. I plead with her to give me a quote. She puts me on hold and says she can't help me unless I have a homeowners policy as well and since I don't own a home she can't help me. Darla, your the rudest, least helpful person I've spoken with since I've been in town."

"Very slow. They ignore me. They lie. They don’t always provide accurate information. Recently, Allstate provided me a Letter of Experience in a few minutes and all done online. I asked State Farm 11 days ago for the same Letter of Experience and I still haven’t received it after several emails, phone calls, and online searching."

"I've been insured with State Farm for 37 years. Contacted this agent recently, got quotes, got more quotes that made no sense, they were going to call the underwriter, and nobody ever followed up with me. I was ready to move all of my policies to them. Trying another agent now."

"So it all started when I moved to the Sedona area last year. I was trying to find a new job and I was CONSIDERING driving for UBER to supplement my income until I did find a job. I called Andrew Bailor's State Farm office to find out how long it would take to receive my proof of insurance. This was necessary just to sign up for UBER's program. Before answering my question, Denise, the secretary was very short with me and wanted to know why I had to know when I would get my proof of insurance. Me, being an honest person, told her, "I'm thinking about driving for UBER" She then switches to attack my wallet mode and she told me she would have to rewrite my policy to include the UBER added risk. I said, "I have yet to even sign up for UBER, I'm just thinking about it" She was rude and treated me like a thief. I continued to ask her, when will I get my proof of insurance? I'm not paying for something I'm not doing yet. It wasn't until I said, " Do I have to ask you a 4th time?" that she finally answered my question. I said thank you and hung up and began to research other state farm agents in the area. At that point I had been with State Farm for almost a decade so I was loyal to the company, but I never wanted to deal with Denise the Secretary ever again. Problem was, I had already switched my Renter's Insurance over to them from my Arkansas agent. So when I switched my renters insurance from Arkansas, (the first time I spoke with Denise) she asked me if anybody was living with me. I said yes I have a roommate named so & so. Well apparently, Denise took that as her right to add so & so to my renters policy. I never added anyone to my renters policy, Denise did it for me. So when I wanted to switch agents they put so & so's name on the refund check rather than just switching it to a new agent. I believe this was Denise's way of trying to inconvenience me. I was no longer in contact with my old roommate because so & so was not a good roommate. So, instead of committing check fraud, I called Andrew Bailor's office and asked for the check to be sent with just my name on it. I should have been the only name on the policy, because I never gave them permission to add someone else's name to MY policy. Well here comes Denise in attack mode all over again. She was once again short with me and beyond rude. She didn't appreciate me pointing out where she screwed up and she hung up on me. Well from that moment forward I was talking directly with Andrew Bailor via voicemail and then E-mail correspondence. Andrew understood that Denise can be short at times and to me it was obvious she lied to him about previous conversations Denise and I had. But we eventually came to a civil agreement and he said he would send me the check. He also added that he did not understand why my policy wasn't just transferred. Here are a few excerpts from the E-mails sent... John, Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it as well. Of course, I will always do my best to defend my employees and listen to them. Of course, this means I also, 100% need to listen to the clients. Usually, in my experience, both sides have different versions of the events – and somehow – both are correct in some manner. In any case, I will address the situation. Denise has 20 years of State Farm experience, though she is new to Sedona and my office. When someone has that much experience it can be hard to convey that knowledge to the client without sounding short and direct. She needs to work on that, and I will coach her better as well. I will move on to the refund check. I am not sure why a refund check was issued at all. The premium from the renter's policy should have been moved to the new policy. Again, thanks for your honesty and response. The ability to have a constructive dialogue is becoming a lost art in this world we live in. Andrew So, naturally I thought I would receive a refund check within a few weeks to a month. The State Farm refund process is extremely slow. Well, I never got the check and Andrew was just blowing smoke up my you know what. So, 0 stars."
